World Human Verification Technology Expansion

under deployment

Sam Altman’s World project announced expansion plans for its human verification technology, targeting dating apps, entertainment ticketing, and business communications. The project uses cryptographic methods and biometric iris scanning via the Orb device to verify human presence while protecting user anonymity. The technology has been integrated with Tinder globally, launched Concert Kit for verified ticketing with major platforms and artists, and developed business applications to combat deepfakes. The project faces scaling challenges and has expanded Orb availability in New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, with remote verification services.
