Description | The state government of Maharashtra is undertaking the planned development of the Worli Jetty in Mumbai. The project aims to boost water transport, emergency medical services, water ambulances, public transport, tourism, and coastal connectivity. Structural audits have been conducted, and necessary structural changes are planned to make the jetty suitable for passenger transport and emergency services. A Project Management Consultant is being appointed for pre-feasibility, DPR, environmental permits, and technical approvals. Additionally, a helipad development at the Worli jetty is proposed under a public-private partnership model. |
