WRFN New Lagoon and Septic Bed Assessment/Replacement Program

The project will replace septic beds and a septic pit with a lagoon in the Whitesand First Nation in Ontario. The work will assess the condition and environmental impact of existing septic beds, replace up to 15 failing septic beds, design and construct a new lagoon for wastewater treatment, and decommission the existing septic pit. In addition, two kilometres of water main will be inspected to determine if replacement is warranted in future. The project will improve the capacity to treat and manage wastewater and extend the life of the assets.
