Description | The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is replacing three bridges in Wrightsville Beach, including two bridges along West Salisbury Street over Lees Cut and Banks Channel, and one on Causeway Drive over Banks Channel. Utility relocation work is scheduled to begin this summer around the smaller bridge on West Salisbury Street over Lees Cut, with intermittent lane closures during the work. The bridge will not be closed for replacement until after Labor Day. Surveying and right-of-way staking are also expected to start soon. |
