Description | In May 2012, construction of the 80MW PV plant sponsored by the Runfeng Group commenced in Wuwei City, Gansu Province. The agreement was signed by Runfeng Group and Wuwei Municipal Government sometime in 2011. Runfeng had a 100% stake in the project. Concession term was known. The project would be conducted in three phases: phase 1, 30MW, almost completed by March 2013; phase II, 50 MW, 20% completed by March 2013 and expected to be completed in Oct 2013. Preparation for phase III of 100MW was ongoing in March 2013. The total investment for the first two phases was about US$ 161.40 million (RMB 1 billion) and the number for the whole project (3 phases) was US$ 322.80 million (RMB 2 billion). |
