Description | The project involves the construction of Wuwei Veinous Industrial Park Waste-to-Energy Plant, located in Wuwei, Gansu province of China. The plant has a daily household waste processing capacity of 800 tonnes and a daily food waste treatment capacity of 80 tonnes (total of 321,200 tonnes/year). It will be equipped with two 400 tonnes/day mechanic grate furnaces and one 15 MW turbine power generator. The project is expected to generate approximately 100 million kWh of green electricity per year. The sponsor is China Everbright International Ltd.
