Description | In Aug 2012, a Shenzhen based private company Xingyuan Kongjian Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with the Wuxue Municipal Government to build and operate the Wuxue City Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II in Wuxue City, Hubei Province. Xingyuan Kongjian won the bid with a base operation price of RMB 1.2 Yuan per cubic meter. The concession term was 26 years including 1 year for construction. Xingyuan Kongjian had a 100% stake in the project. The total investment was close to RMB 30 million (US$ 4.75 million) and the capacity of the facility was 20,000 cubic meters per day. According to an article in Feb 2013, construction had beening progressing well and trial run could be performed in Mar 2013. At least 25% of construction had been achieved by Oct 2012. |
