Description | In June 2015, a local private company Zhejiang Weiming Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. signed a Public Private Partnership agreement with the Wujin County Government to finance, build and operate a solid waste incineration power plant in Wuyi County, Zhejiang Province. The total investment was US$ 53.09 million (RMB 365.70 million) and Zhejiang Weiling had a 100% stake in the project. The concession term was 30 years. The plant could process 900 tons of solid waste per day and its power generation capacity was 24MW. A special purpose vehicle Wuyi Weiming Environmental Protection Energy Co., Ltd. was established to implement the project. Construction commenced on February 15, 2017. |
