Description
Description | A planned artificial intelligence data center in Wyoming, announced by Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins, is set to become one of the world's largest AI data centers. The project is a partnership between energy infrastructure firm Tallgrass and AI data center builder Crusoe. It will begin with 1.8 gigawatts of power usage and ultimately expand to 10 gigawatts, consuming more electricity than all residential homes in Wyoming combined. The data center will generate its own power from dedicated natural gas facilities and alternative energy sources due to its massive energy requirements. |
