The program aims to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of electrifying homes versus maintaining and expanding aging gas infrastructure by targeting approximately 2,200 homes across two neighborhoods, including an income-qualified area in Denver's Valverde neighborhood and a market-rate area in Aurora. Incentives include up to $20,000 per home for heat pumps, water heaters, weatherization, and panel upgrades, with income-qualified homeowners in Valverde receiving 100% incentives covering all project costs. |
