XEV launched the world's first mass-customization project for micro electric vehicles, including the flagship XEV YOYO, allowing European drivers to order personalized vehicles directly. The project introduces a subscription model separating vehicle purchase from battery leasing, reducing upfront costs and addressing EV adoption barriers. It features a modular battery system with a proprietary battery swapping network enabling fully automated battery replacement in about three minutes, enhancing convenience and operational efficiency. The project supports personal commuting, last-mile delivery, and shared mobility fleets, with assembly hubs and battery swapping networks being established across Europe.
