Description | East Asia Power Resources Corporation, a subsidiary of the Singapore based RGM International was granted an agreement to build and operate the Xiamen East Gas Fired Power Plant Phase I in Xiamen City, Fujian Province in December 2006. East Asia Power obtained the agreement by direct negotiation. The power plant has a capacity of 786MW and the total investment was RMB 2837 million (US$ 355.96 million). East Asia Power owns 100% of the project and will operate it for 25 years by a project company, East Asia Power (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. The project came into operation in May 2009. According to the latest news (http://fcxw.596.com/html/xiamenxinwen/2009/0514/11455.html) the project has came into operation. However the exact financial closing date is unknown. |
