In May 2012, a Beijing based private company Beijing Sound Group won a bid to build and operate the Chang'an District Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II under an agreement with the local government in the Chang'an District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Description | In May 2012, a Beijing based private company Beijing Sound Group won a bid to build and operate the Chang'an District Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II under an agreement with the local government in the Chang'an District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. Sound's winning price was RMB 58.6035 million (US$ 9.29 million). The total capacity of the plant was 50,000 cubic meters per day. Trial run of the plant was conducted in Dec 2012. Concession term of the agreement was not reported. Beijing Sound had a 100% stake in the project.At least 25% of construction had been achieved by Jun 2012. |
