Description | The project involves a waste-to-energy plant Xi'an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province, western China. The plant is expected to have a designed daily household waste processing capacity of 2,250 tonnes. It will be equipped with three 750 tonnes/day mechanical grate furnaces and two sets of 25 MW turbine power generators. The project is expected to generate approximately 250 million kWh of green electricity annually.The concession contract is for a period of 30 years (construction period inclusive). The water produced from the leachate treatment will comply with water quality standards allowing the utilisation of reused water in open-type recirculating cooling water systems. |
