In August 2006, a local private company Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed a 25 year agreement to build and operate the Xiangfan Xiangcheng Guanyinge Wastewater Treatment Plant in Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. The plant capacity was 100,000 cubic meters per day. Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group got the project through an open bidding process.

Description | In August 2006, a local private company Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed a 25 year agreement to build and operate the Xiangfan Xiangcheng Guanyinge Wastewater Treatment Plant in Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. The plant capacity was 100,000 cubic meters per day. Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group got the project through an open bidding process. Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group invested over RMB 100 million (US$ 12.55 million) in the plant and owned 100% of the project. The plant was planed to be operational as of the end of 2007. |
