Description | China WindPower Group, a Hong Kong based company won a contract to finance, builds and operates a wind power plant in Xiangzhou District, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province through open bidding. When the contract was signed was not reported, but it was known that construction commenced on August 25, 2015. The power generation capacity of the power plant was 48MW. The total investment was US$ 67.29 million (RMB 419.0704 million) and China WindPower Group held a 100% stake in the facilities. Construction was expected to be finished in January 2016. An SPV, Xiangyang Xiangzhou Xiehe Wind Power Generation Co., Ltd. was locally registered to implement the project. |
