Description | In September 2016, a local private company, Beijing Shouda Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. signed a Public Private Partnership agreement with the Xianning Municipal Government to finance, build and operate the Xianning City Wastewater Treatment Plant Sludge Disposal Project in Xianning City, Hubei Province following an open bidding process. The total investment was US$ 4.79 million (RMB 31.8474 million) and Beijing Shouda had an 80% stake in the project. The facility, once completed, could process 100 tons of sludge per day. Construction commenced in September 2016. |
