Description | In November 2015, a local private company Beijing Origin Water Technology Co., Ltd. won a bid to operate 5 existing township wastewater treatment plants and build and operate 12 new Plants in Xiantao City, Hubei Province. The agreement was signed in January 2016. The plant had a total treatment capacity of 42,000 tons per day. The total investment was US$ 46.66 million (RMB 305 million). An SPV Xiantao Water Affairs Environmental Technology Company Limited was established to implement the project, which was a JV of Beijing Origin Water (44.1%), and two state owned enterprises Wuhan Sanchez Industrial Holdings (45.9%) and Xiantao Urban Construction General Company (10%). The total equity was US$ 6.73 million (RMB 44 million). The concession term was 30 years. |
