Description | In June 2009, a local private company Jiangsu Philip Environmental Protection Engineering Co Signed a 20 year agreement with Xiaochang County Government to construct and operate a wastewater treatment plant in Xiaochang County, Hubei Province. Phase I of the project had a capacity of 25,000 tons per day and was expected to be doubled when the 2nd phase finish. The total investment was RMB 83.97 million (US$ 12.01 million). Jiangsu Philip owned 100% of the project. The project was awarded through direct negotiation. |
