Description | Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed an agreement in May 2008 with Lanzhou Municipal Government to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Beijing Sound would operate the facility for 30 years before transferring it back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 130 million (US$ 18.6 million), and Beijing Sound owns 100% of the project. |
