Description | In March 2013, a local private company Zhongde (China) Environmental Protection Company Limited signed an agreement with the Xuanwei Municipal Government to finance, build and operate the 2nd solid waste incineration power plant commenced in Xuanwei City, Yunnan Province. The total investment was US$ 35.64 million (RMB 233 million) and Zhongde had a 100% stake in the project. The facility could process 500 tons of solid waste per day and the power generation capacity was 7.5MW. Construction commenced in April 2015 and would be completed in 18 months. |
