The project entails the development of a 82.5 MW power wind plant in Kayseri, Central Anatolia by Bak Enerji Uretemi ("Project company", a joint venture of Gestamp Wind and Faik Celik Holding each holding 50 per cent). Yahyali wind farm is expected to produce about 303,000 MWh annually, which corresponds to the residential electricity consumption of approximately 182,000 people in Turkey. This is a greenfield project which will require an investment of $155 million. Financial closure was reached on April 25, 2016 after the sponsors secured debt financing of $115 million from Garanti Bank. The debt is split into two tranches: a $30 million term loan and a $85 million export credit facility, both with tenors of 15.5 years.
