The project is designed to be developed in phases, with the first stage costing $2.5 billion to supply gas to the domestic market, and a second phase worth $5 billion focusing on downstream industrial growth. Kosmos Energy and BP are withdrawing, with Senegal's national oil company PETROSEN expected to become the sole operator. |
