YAMI 2 presents a slate of six projects: four one-off documentaries (TÉHÉRAN, AUTO-IMMUNE, PÊCHE EN EAUX TROUBLES, WORST CASE SCENARIO, YAIR GOLAN, LA DERNIÈRE CHANCE D’ISRAËL), a documentary series (CHAOS INC.) and a short film (LA CHÈVRE DE MADAME SEGUIN). With various topics, all these projects deliver human stories that tell us about the world as it is, with a strong emphasis on European and international coproduction (Sweden, Austria, The Netherlands, Moldava, Israel) and sales potential across the world. This Slate is part of a new phase for YAMI 2 - with the arrival of a new producer bringing new projects and new challenges - and in line with our objectives: to increase the number of international coproductions, open up even more to world cinema and diversify into other genres and formats. Driven by transnational issues, these projects constitute a very representative panel of YAMI 2's editorial know-how and ambitions and mix both experienced writer-directors and emerging talents. The Slate allows us to carry out our ambition in today's competitive audiovisual landscape: to export internationally by taking the time to build solid European and international coproductions and partnerships, as well as a distribution plan well in advance of production. During the development process, we will continue content research and writing, produce teasers and other visual materials, consolidate the creative and production teams, pitch the projects publicly and in one-to-one meetings, finance the productions and prepare for filming. As an independent production company, the support of Europe Media Creative Programme would substantially sustain our ambitious growth plans. Authors, directors and other creative personnel as well as production staff will benefit from the projects, in total about 40 persons.
