Ucore Rare Metals Inc. has signed a non-binding Heads of Agreement with Wyloo Gascoyne Pty Ltd and Hastings Technology Metals Ltd to secure a long-term supply of Yangibana rare earth concentrate and explore hydrometallurgical processing options in the United States, particularly in Louisiana. This agreement aims to establish a mine-to-oxide supply chain across trusted jurisdictions, supporting the U.S.-Australia Framework for critical minerals and rare earths, and enhancing Ucore’s position in the North American market. The collaboration seeks to de-risk the Yangibana Project and leverage financing and commercial opportunities from recent U.S.-Australia government initiatives, ultimately reinforcing allied supply chains and reducing dependency on China.
