Xinao Gas owns 50% of the project. A project company, Yantai Xinao Gas Development Co., Ltd., was established to operate the facilities to serve 2 million people in Yantai. The total investment was RMB 299 million (US$ 39.29 million). This is a special project: Xinao's entry into Yantai was as early as 2004, but the concession agreement was granted formally much later. There are other such projects in the natural gas sector. |
