Description | The transaction entails the provision of a sovereign loan to the Republic of Tajikistan of up to EUR 2.4 million (the "Loan") that will be co-financed by an investment grant of up to EUR 2.4 million (the "Grant") from the EBRD Shareholder Special Fund (SSF). The Loan and Grant proceeds will be used to finance priority investment programme (PIP) components to upgrade city of Yavan's (the "City") water supply infrastructure (the "Project"). The water supply and wastewater services in the City are provided by Yavan Water Company (the "Company"), fully owned by the state unitary enterprise Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali (KMK), a national level utility services operator. The Project is submitted as a sub-project under the Integrated Water Resources Management Framework (the "Framework"). |
