Description | YCO Global Cloud Center Holdings, Inc. (“YCO Global” or the “Sponsor”) plans to construct and operate three data centers in the Philippines. The proposed investment involves providing a US$20 million IFC C loan for three data centers, including two (Malvar 1 & 2, total 50MW) located at an industrial park in Batangas, 90km south of Metro Manila and a third one at Bataan, 120km north of Metro Manila. Both sites are within existing industrial estates with no sensitive areas or communities within close proximity. The Malvar sites have been constructed while the Bataan data center is in the planning phase. A transmission line, water supply plant and wastewater treatment plant will be constructed by the industrial park and government for the exclusive use of the Bataan site and are considered associated facilities. |
