Description | The Yellowhead Pipeline Project is a natural gas pipeline spanning just over 230 kilometres from the Peers area to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. It will deliver more than 1,200 terajoules (1.1 billion cubic feet) of natural gas per day, supporting economic and population growth in Alberta. The project is expected to create 2,000 direct jobs and support an average of 12,000 jobs annually through related downstream investments, contributing an estimated $3.9 billion annually to Alberta's GDP once operational. |
