Description | The project entails the construction of a 254 MW gas-fired combined-cycle cogeneration power plant in Yerevan, Armenia. SPV is ArmPower CJSC, a JV between the sponsors of the project RENCO Power Cjsc (60%) and Siemens Project Venture(40%). Both sponsors contribute for the projects with a total equity of $ 90 million. IFC and MIGA, members of the World Bank Group, are arranging a total of $202 million debt finance and guarantee package. ADB contributes with another loan of $ 68.4 million. Contract period is 25 years and type of concession is design, construction and operation.
