Description | In June 2011, a Hong Kong based company, Hong Kong Renewable Energy JV Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with Yichun City Hongxing District Government to finance, build and operate the Hongxing Solar Power Plant Project Phase Two in Yichuan City, Heilongjiang Province. The total investment is US$ 1 billion and the Hong Kong company has a 100% stake in the project. The total capacity of the power plant is 250MW. According to the website of the Hongxing District Government dated November 2011, construction of the plant is about to commence. Once completed, the solar power plant will be connected to the State Grid. |
