Description | Four local private companies, Jiamei, Longpeng, Chuangyi, and Shunmei were granted a 50 year agreement to construct and operate the 25MW Yongkou Hydro Power Plant in Dehua County, Fujian Province through direct negotiation. Construction commenced in August 2003. The four companies have an equal stake in the project (25% respectively). The total investment was RMB 214 million (US$ 25.85 million) and 160 million of it was debt from banks. The project came into operation in June 2006. When the contract was signed and when financial closing was achieved were unknown. |
