Description | Construction of a biomass power plant commenced in Sep 2011 in Yongshun County, Hunan Province. The sponsor was a local private company Kaidi Electric Power which had a 100% stake in the project. The total investment was RMB 306.97 million (US$ 48.65 million) and the capacity of the power plant was 30MW. According to an official article reporting the progress of construction, at least 25% of construction had been completed by July 2012 (RMB 80 million had been expended by July 2012). The concession term of the project was not reported. The agreement was signed with the Yongshun County Government. |
