Description | The project involves the investment, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment system in Fuzhou, Yongtai County, Fujian Province of China. The designed capacity is 7,170 tons/day (2,617,050 tonnes per year). The SPV is called Fujian Qidao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd and is owned by Fujian Strait Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd with 93.99% stake, Fujian Yida Engineering Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd with 0.01% stake, Fujian Yijian Group Co., Ltd with 1% stake and state owned Yongtai County Urban and Rural Construction Development Co., Ltd with 5% stake. The project cost amounts to CNY 151.89 million or $ 22.15 million. The project is structured under BOT model for a concession period of 20 years which includes 2 years construction period. The return mechanism is government payment.
