Yongzhou Eastern Waste-to-energy Plant Phase I

The project involves the construction of the phase I of Yongzhou Eastern Waste-to-energy plant, located in Yongzhou, Hunan province of China. The plant will process household waste generated from Ningyuan, Lanshan and Xintian counties. Phase I of the project has a designed daily waste processing capacity of 600 tonnes (219,000 tonnes/year) and will be equipped with two 300 tonnes/day mechanic grate furnaces, one 12 MW turbine power generator and one 15 MW power generator. The 2nd phase will add further 300 tonnes/day to the capacity. The project is expected to generate approximately 92 million kWh of green electricity per year. The sponsor China Everbright international Ltd signed a concession agreement under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model for 30 years, including the construction.
