Description | The project will twin the existing thirty-five year old forcemain system to provide system redundancy to mitigate potential risk of spills to the environment, service interruptions and health impact to the public. Construction of the new forcemain includes 5,700 m of new sewage forcemains, nine (9) chambers, and modifications to two (2) existing sewage pump stations. Modifications at the pump stations will include connecting a new forcemain into the existing pumping system and process control changes to operate dual forcemains. |
