Description

Description

6 medium cities from 6 countries. Their objective is to jointly participate along a common strategy in the EU programming period. We also intend to give priority to personal relations among the inhabitants of the towns. It is a key target to establish and develop social, economical, environmental protection and cultural links in European terms, through participation of local municipalities and their associations, involving entrepreneurs, NGOs and local citizens. To sum up needs and capacities and to present the opportunities offered by EU through thematic youth programmes, meetings, communication trainings, business forums, civic discussions and public social events involving local inhabitants. Volunteers in each country will collect project proposals and will create a list of those development projects, which are planned to be achieved until 2027. This will form a basis for a cooperation strategy, which will commonly be drawn up by the end of the project period. A database will be created including the regions’ touristic attractions and programmes: it will also be used for editing websites and social media platforms. The project will call a new EU network into being, consisting of 6 countries, 6 municipalities and many NGOs and businesses. This network will have all the capacities to assist in regional development, economical stability, improve in the long-term quality of life of local citizens and will reduce youth unemployment and negative migration. The network will enhance new links between settlements and will generate further networks. The participants during the trainings will get an insight into EU processes, will become familiar with principles and opportunities and will learn how to build up a joint project. The project will have an impact on cca 300000 people, incl indirect effects. A strong emphasis will be laid all through the implementation and communication on European awareness, the common past and future and better understanding, tolerance.
