The project ” Young Orchestra and Choir Professional Academy of Le Concert des Nations”, is based on the experience of the renowned Maestro Jordi Savall of selecting, training and accompanying young musicians and singers, guaranteeing the highest musical level, and specializing them in early European musical heritage. It’s quite innovative as it associates pedagogical work with practical learning in recording and concerts, where teachers and young musicians play together. It’s a contribution to European identity and values. The project achieves its results through three phases: - The selection of the musicians and singers, firstly on line, and that in addition to excellence, takes gender into account and that in any case guarantees maximum national diversity, with musicians from a minimum of 20 countries participating in the Creative Europe Program. - The Professional Academies to achieve the highest level of artistic excellence in playing early music, and that, through the interaction between teachers and young musicians, allow a highly professionalized musical group to be constituted, where teachers and young musicians play together. The project guarantees the continuity and follow-up of the academies. - Concerts: an ambitious program of concerts, mainly joining in single a musical ensemble, teachers and young performers and singers, with the aim of providing young musicians with practical learning that guarantees their future careers, both within the orchestra that will continue, and in other musical formations, without forgetting the purpose of bringing music, in addition to consolidated concert halls and festivals, to young people, social groups and territories that have less access to culture. The objective of the project, in its three phases and during its three-year duration, is to select, train and work with 60 instrumental performers and 60 singers, all of them young, and guarantee the continuity of the Young Orchestra and Choir Professional Academy
