The project aims to support 1.500 participants offering measures such as labour market information, counselling, job search assistance and placement in internships or employment combined with funding measures helping to overcome the major obstacles to transnational labour mobility. At least 70 % of the funding is dedicated to jobseekers aged between 18 and 35 years, 65% of which are earmarked for specific projects for young people aged 18-25 years with special needs. In the age segment of participants 35+, 15% of the funding is dedicated to support participants aged 50+. Application is open to all citizens with EU-nationality or legal residence in the EU-27 countries, Iceland and Norway. Considering the asymmetric impact of Covid19 crisis and the energy-crisis in the EU, the focus is on enabling people in countries particularly affected, to find a quick and sustainable way out of unemployment. The support includes funding placement into the most affected and strategically important sectors. Germany is one of the countries with a rather stable labour market and offers great opportunities in Europe. Thus, the project will focus on placement in Germany. The German social security system as well as employers in Germany offer numerous support measures for qualification to new employees from the EU. Co-applicants in the consortium are the German EURES-Partners TIBOR and BBZ that will provide consultation services to SMEs implementing integration programmes and offering post-placement support to participants. A pilot-project will be dedicated to supporting people with disabilities in their attempt to take advantage of European labour mobility. The French EURES-member CHEOPS is as Co-applicant partner in this pilot. In a bilateral pilot project together with Co-applicant EURES Croatia the labour force potential for placements in Germany will be evaluated. EURES Cyprus, Portugal and Spain join the consortium as associated partners.
