YAR aims to prevent racism, xenophobia and intolerance among European young people (13-25) through 1 Anti-Racism Model ispired by an existing educational model based on a Protocol ACAP-MIUR founded on youth active participation and volunteering with/for migrants and refugees, effective and replicable. Research, codesign and capacity building activites are foreseen to analize Racism causes among youth and to identify best practices to combact racist acts, in order to define the implementation strategy for focusing ACAP model as tool for prevention racism. Youth will be involved in volonteering activities closely with migrants and refugees. A feasibility study on the model transferability in other European contexts will be carried out, and guidelines/hadbook on procedures standardizazion published. Advocacy and networking activities to improve active and responsible citizenship against racism by young people, to achieve a sinergy cooperation with policy/decision makers. Awareness and recruitment campaign will be implemented according to a strong dissemination strategy. Target groups/beneficiaries: 500 youth trained and engaged in volunteering, 200 migrants/refugees helped, 50 teachers/social operators, 100 youth involved at policy level, 10 EU schools, 20 among public/local authorities, involved. Expected results: Improved soft skills of young people, Improved assistance and support of migrants/refugees, Strengthening of existing networks, Improved synergies at local/national/EU level, Increased participation of different national and/or local authorities, civil society organisations, targeted communities, Increased engagement of youth against Racism at European level. Project deliverables: 3 reports related to Racism analysis, 1 set of e-learming modules, 1 Guidelines, 1 Handbook, 3 events, 6 round-tables, 1 thematic table, 1 EU Contest, 1 Strategy Plan, 1 website, 7 socialpages, 1 International Conference, 2 awareness campaigns, 35.000 dissemination materials.
