YOUTH: all inclusive – connecting grass roots organisations across Europe

The Covid 19 crisis not only revealed the inequality of education opportunities for young people all over Europe but increased it. This not only affects the individual participation opportunities of future generations, but also leads to disintegration and fragility of European society. As youth work and educational organisations that are increasingly concerned about these developments in their countries, the consortium in this project wants to identify ways and means to advocate for a sustainable educational inclusion of European youths. Based on the concrete experiences of the partner organisations in basic, local as well as transnational, youth work, the project aims to develop a set of cross-national best practices with the goal of working towards inclusion of educationally disadvantaged youth. In the end, these will not only be made available to a broad public on an open source digital platform, but through toolboxes we will develop a harmonised approach to European grass-roots youth work, including benchmarking. Long-term cooperation of the partners and network expansion will ensure that the EU Youth Strategy and its implications for EU citizenship are re-integrated into the everyday life of young people and their educational needs across Europe.
