Description

Description

This project, coordinated by the association Station de Jeunesse, aims to foster active, informed, and lasting participation of young people in democratic life at local, national, and European levels. Responding to the growing disconnection between youth and political institutions, the project empowers young people through training, structured dialogue with policymakers, and digital campaigns. Running from January 2026 to December 2028, the project targets young people aged 15 to 30, especially those from rural areas, disadvantaged neighborhoods, or in situations of social exclusion, as well as youth workers and local authorities. It will combine online and face-to-face activities, including training modules on European citizenship, civil rights, public speaking, and advocacy, along with participatory local projects co-created by youth (in fields such as ecology, culture, or civic engagement). Citizens’ forums across partner countries will promote dialogue between youth and elected officials. Digital awareness campaigns (on Instagram, videos..) will increase youth engagement and visibility. The project will also enhance the structural capacity of the coordinating NGO to become a key player in the EU youth dialogue. Aligned with Erasmus+ priorities, the project promotes democratic participation, digital transformation, and environmental engagement. It will result in open-source educational toolkits, increased youth involvement in public decision-making, and stronger transnational cooperation.
