"This project gathers citizens from different EU countries aiming to promote exchanges between citizens of different countries as a first project objective, to provide opportunities for citizens to discover the cultural diversity of the European Union and to realize that European values as a second project objective and to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship among the citizens of 6 partners coming from EU. One three-day international event ""Youth Contact"" will be organized within the Project. The project includes preparatory activities, 3 online meetings, organization of an international event and a reporting period of a total of 10 months. The three-day international event will be organized in Slovenia, the country of the leading partner, where up to 194 foreign participants will work, a total of 230 participants. A total of 260 direct participants are expected to take part in the project. It is planned that 30 participants will be involved in online preparatory, coordination and reporting meetings. The project involves 6 partners from 6 EU member states. Under the auspices of the Catholic Youth, more than 150 volunteers are participating in the procedure of organizing the Youth Contact. During the international event, 2 thematic round tables for young people will be organized on 2 topics: ""Locally or globally - both c"" and ""Challenges facing young people across Europe"". There will be 2 interactive lectures for participants on the topic: 1) ""Combating all forms of discrimination against young people"" and 2) ""Youth as a great resource of society"", as well as 2 workshops on ""Who I want to be"" and ""Thank you, please and sorry"" “. Accompanying elements of the event are concerts, folk dances, sports competitions, etc. which are organized within the festival ""Youth Contact"", where participants, primarily young people, representatives of different cultures and communities through music establish connections, recognize differences and common European values."
