The call covers 2 full cycles (9th and 10th) of the EU Youth Dialogue. This project aims to implement Youth Dialogue process for the next three years (2022 to 2024) in the Belgian French-Speaking Community. Forum des Jeunes (Youth Council) and its young Ambassadors will organise various activities in order to reach the covered youth goals. The final objective of these Cycles is to build qualitative policy papers. Reaching strong positions will be the basis of our youth advocacy work towards policy-makers at all levels of authority in Belgium and at European level. The overall objective is to bring out concrete means/measures to improve youth participation in all areas that affect youth. To reach this goal, qualitative and quantitative consultations will be carried out. Dialogue activities between young people and decision-makers will also be organised to create participation spaces where young people can express their opinions, their needs and recommendations. Partnerships with various stakeholders (NWG, youth organisations) will be created throughout both Cycles in order to reach a wide and representative audience. Our target audience is all young people aged between 16 and 30 and living in the Belgian French-Community. Particular attention will be given to young people with less opportunities and those who live in rural areas to ensure that the results reflect the diversity of Belgian youth. Decision-makers and youth organisations are also important stakeholders of this project. In terms of outcomes, consultation analysis and other dialogue activities results will be gathered through a policy paper containing concrete political demands that reflect young people’s voices. In terms of dissemination, various communication products (visuals, videos, brochure, and events) will be created to promote our activities and their results and increase their visibility to young people and to other partners. However, Belgium will hold the EU Presidency during the 10th Cycle.
