Description
Description | Since November 2009, the action plan „youth policy“ obliges all the member states of the EU to conduct national consultations of young people, the so-called Youth Dialogue, formerly known as Structured Dialogue, a regular, exchange between policy makers and youth. The topics defined by the Youth Goals, the result of the sixth cycle of the dialogue process, are at the centre of the many exchanges between young people, elected officials, experts from the field of youth, youth organisations, researchers etc. All those efforts aim at one global objective: To discuss and develop a common European youth policy which considers the valuable input of young people and youth organisations, to make policy not only for but with youth. In that context, the National Working Group Luxembourg (NWG), chaired and coordinated by the CGJL/de Jugendrot (National Youth Council of Luxembourg), will implement this project in order to make the Youth Dialogue in Luxembourg happen from 2022 to 2024. The NWG has defined its mission to offer an open and participative process as follows: - maintain a regular contact with EACEA (grant management), ESG (dialogue process) and the other European NWGs. - respecting the dialogue’s global objectives and to break the process down to the national level, in a youth friendly way - implementing the dialogue on a regular basis between youth and policy makers in Luxembourg and Europe - promote the Youth Goals by reaching out youngsters but also to our different partners and the many actors in the field of youth - transpose the results and recommendations formulated by young people to policy makers, politicians and institutions. - monitoring and evaluating the results of the dialogue process The consultations in the context of the dialogue should always aim at offering young people from diverse backgrounds the opportunity of exchanging ideas, feras and solutions with their peers. The dialogue should be their tool to make their voices heard! |
