Description
Description | "Since November 2009, the action plan ""youth policy"" has mandated all EU member states to conduct national consultations with young people, known as the Youth Dialogue, formerly the Structured Dialogue. This regular exchange between policymakers and youth focuses on topics defined by the Youth Goals, which emerged from the sixth cycle of the dialogue process. The overarching objective is to develop a common European youth policy that incorporates the valuable input of young people and youth organizations, ensuring that policy is made not only for but with youth. In this context, the National Working Group Luxembourg (NWG), chaired and coordinated by the CGJL/de Jugendrot (National Youth Council of Luxembourg), will implement this project to facilitate the Youth Dialogue in Luxembourg from 2025 to 2027. The NWG's mission is to offer an open and participative process with the following key objectives: -Maintain Regular Contact: Ensure continuous communication with EACEA (grant management), ESG (dialogue process), and other European NWGs. -Align with Global Objectives: Respect the dialogue’s global objectives and adapt the process to the national level in a youth-friendly manner. -Implement Regular Dialogue: Facilitate ongoing dialogue between youth and policymakers in Luxembourg and Europe. -Promote Youth Goals: Reach out to young people and various partners and actors in the youth field to promote the Youth Goals. -Transpose Results: Communicate the results and recommendations formulated by young people to policymakers, politicians, and institutions. -Monitor and Evaluate: Continuously monitor and evaluate the results of the dialogue process. The consultations within the dialogue framework aim to provide young people from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to exchange ideas, fears, and solutions with their peers. The dialogue serves as their tool to make their voices heard, fostering a more inclusive and participatory youth policy across Europe. " |
