Description

Description

The 2025 Erasmus+ proposal by European Democrat Students (EDS) aims to empower European youth through democratic engagement, policy advocacy, and digital innovation, aligned with the EU Youth Strategy's pillars: Engage, Connect, and Empower. The project addresses critical youth challenges such as low civic participation, the digital skills gap, and social inequality while fostering inclusivity, sustainability, and EU values. By implementing this project, we aim to: - Strengthen youth participation in democratic processes by organizing 15 expert panels, 3 Council Meetings, and thematic events like the Winter and Summer Universities and Coun - Enhance policy advocacy by training 22 youth leaders to draft and present motions to policymakers, ensuring their voices influence EU policies. - Promote digital and environmental education by launching the EDS Podcast and producing three BullsEye magazine issues, reaching over 150,000 young Europeans. - Increase inclusivity by partnering with minority youth organizations, allocating 5% of event slots to underrepresented groups, and offering scholarships for economically disadvantaged participants. The project adopts a comprehensive approach, combining innovative tools such as podcasts and digital publications with traditional activities like workshops and debates. A robust monitoring framework will measure qualitative and quantitative impacts, including participant feedback, engagement metrics, and policy adoption rates. The project aims to empower over 260 youth participants directly, engage thousands through digital platforms, and foster long-term change by equipping young leaders with skills to shape Europe’s democratic future.
