"The University of Salamanca wishes to contribute through the creation of this Jean Monnet Module on EU youth policies within the framework of the “Youth Goals” (2019-2027). In this sense, the ""YGRC"" programme will contain the following elements: - Offer a historical perspective on the youth policies that the EU has implemented from its inception to the present. - Address the 11 Youth Goals (and how these were achieved from the EU's own policies in the framework of the Structured Dialogue with Youth 2017-18). - Carry out an interdisciplinary study on the relationship of current EU youth policies in the (future) contribution (direct and indirect) to the 11 Youth Goals. - Provide skills, methodologies and tools both statistical and big data for the analysis, study and research of youth policies and the Youth Goals of the EU. - Provide a practical overview on how to contribute to the achievement of the EU Youth Goals from academic profiles, political leaders, universities, civil society organizations, companies and young people. To achieve the above, the Module will carry out the following activities: - Three short-term summer academic programs of 120 hours each (to learn how to research in the topics of EU Youth Policies and Youth Goals). - Three conferences of 4 hours each and Six Structured Dialogues of 3 hours each (for the visibility and dissemination of both Youth Goals and EU youth policies (among the university community and society). All the previous process will be systematized in the following results: - A Didactic Syllabus (in ToolKit format) and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on EU youth policies and Youth Goals. - A Monograph with academic articles (peer-reviewed) that address the 11 Youth Goals (in relation to EU youth policies). - An infographic book of recommendations on how to contribute to the achievement of the Youth Goals."
