The project "Youth Leadership Network" is related to identifying the reasons for the low level of civic participation of young people in the border region, defining the necessary knowledge and skills that will help overcome this low level and will promote civic behavior by conducting training young people who are leaders of public opinion. The aim is for young people to transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to other members of their community and to contribute to positive changes in it. The trained youths will develop a non-financial project related to an important community problem, with mentors, established civic leaders. Young people will present their projects publicly at meetings with local communities to engage in the discussion maximum number of young people of different ages. Trained youth from different regions across the border region will create a network whose main purpose is to share experience and expertise in solving community problems and promoting their civic participation. The project will create the conditions for young people to publicly address their problems and seek solutions and help to involve young people more closely in civil society by participating in ideas in public policy making and decision-making processes.
