Description

Description

“Youth Voices Europe – Empowering Participation Beyond the Bubble” is a 2-year framework partnership led by PiGreco – SEMI di Intercultura APS (Italy) and uniting 9 youth organisations across Europe. The consortium aims to empower marginalised youth, expand civic engagement, and strengthen EU visibility through non-formal education, digital tools, and co-creation. The project responds to the EU Youth Strategy by addressing exclusion in civic participation, especially among NEETs, rural youth, and low-skilled young adults. It delivers 56 Youth Empowerment Labs and 48 “project gyms” in 9 countries to build critical thinking, project design skills, and democratic awareness. Youth-led campaigns, interactive EU maps, and digital outputs will reach 20,000+ young people, promoting belonging and visibility. The action also supports youth professionals through 12 national trainings and transnational coordination moments. Outputs include a multilingual toolkit, a final booklet, and 72+ communication materials. The partnership integrates the Digital Education Action Plan and builds on the legacy of the European Year of Skills and Youth. Each consortium member contributes specific expertise—from digital facilitation and ESC coordination to rural outreach and creative advocacy—ensuring geographic balance, inclusive methods, and local anchoring. Strategic use of SALTO, the European Youth Portal, and EU social media enhances dissemination. Youth policymakers are engaged via Labs, public events, and youth councils. By transforming local organisations into “participation gyms,” the consortium creates a sustainable model for EU-connected, youth-led civic engagement across Europe.
